Instructions
------------

The Vice Squad is split into 9 seperate sub-missions.
You will be given a briefing at the start of each mission
and must carry out the instructions in order to complete
the level.
If the level contains a boss encounter (e.g. gun truck or tank)
you must cover a certain distance before the boss battle begins.

Weapon power-ups
----------------

After destroying 8 enemy cars (coloured black) during a single life,
the last one will drop a power-up when destroyed. If you miss this,
you'll have to destroy another 8 enemies before it comes round.

Once collected, the weapons system installed in your car will
automatically upgrade. However, losing a life will cause the system
to downgrade to the previous level.

upgrade level 1 - oil slicks
upgrade level 2 - reverse fire
upgrade level 3 - foreward missles
upgrade level 4 - reverse missles
upgrade level 5 - side beams

Badges
------

After completing a level you are rewarded a Gold, Silver or
Bronze badge, the colour corresponding to your performance:

Gold: 0-3 civilian vehicles destroyed
Silver: 4-6 civilian vehicles destroyed
Bronze: 7(+) civilian vehicles destroyed
