ah, you're just not viewing it right, tilt your head 12 degrees, move 3 inches from the screen, then cross your eyes and focus on the cow's right nostril for 8 1/2 minutes. Repeat until your eyesight is well and truly screwed, at which point c64 gfx and the real world will be indistinguishable! I'd never set a pixel without it.

When you boil it down though, it's still just a bunch of dots on the screen! ;-)

Ben, surely that list of features you would use to judge a photograph is still just as relevant to most artwork, including c64 gfx? The standard of the pixelling is only one element that should make up an overall rating IMO. That said, I do like the pixelling on this picture. I like the pixelling around the nose/mouth area and the shadow area under it, I also like the more subtle effects around the eyes/ears. It's also technically quite good; nice use of colour in general and well anti-aliased.

Good job, nice pixelling. And I wonder why Ben doesn't appreciate it. Hollowman: could Ben and Oswald be the same person?
Perhaps they just don't like c64 stuff anymore, who knows... Or perhaps they have
huge brains that needs to be fed with something a lot more complicated. Could they be extraterrestral lifeforms? BTW, anyone heard from E.T. lately?
Keep it up Bizzmo! ;-)

Good technique. The composition is somewhat lacking, though... Seems almost unfinished? As for originality, I've seen this kind of cow pic pixeled before a couple of times, but at least it's not just another girl.

Hrm. This is quite a nice pic. Painted by Bizzmo or not. It is certainly pleasing to my eyes. Credit to the artist, whoever they are, regardless if known or unknown.

I don't know Ben, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Graphic is really impressive. Congratulations! I'd like to see that graphic in a demo with a background fx (for example a cloud scroll fx on multiplexer sprites).

Agree about the background! Could have made more of that, but sometimes it's best to keep things simple. Besides, this was really a test/challenge to see if I could still "do it". I didn't really want to spend too much time on it! - Thanks for the comments though!

Wow. A real good multicolour picture. Drawing technic is perfect. Color usage is master work. Maybe backround should be a bit more complex(Clouds etc.) But I also liked it that way.Especially dark grey skin reflections on the black parts of the cow look really beautiful. Congratulations Bizzmo.
